Introduction to modeling of Environmental systems, physical phenomena, chemical phenomena, biological phenomena. Air pollutants- Modeling of dispersion of pollutants in air. Water Quality modeling-basic theory, estuary models, river model, lake models; models of treatment processes-thickening process, anaerobic digestion, activated sludge process, trickling filter process. Modeling of transport of pollutants in subterranean mediamodeling of ground water pollution.
