Advanced control techniques, cascade ratio, feed forward, adaptive control, Smith predictor, selective control, inferential control, internal model control, model based control systems. Analysis of distributed parameter system dynamics. Multivariable process control. Sampled - data systems. Nonlinear control, Application of Artificial intelligence in control, introduction to digital process control.
