Dr. Jagannathan T. Kalathi, Assistant Professor and his research team, including Mr. Kishor Kumar M. J., Ph.D. Scholar and Dr. Pavan Pujar invented a simple, cost-effective method for the preparation of thin dielectric films. An Indian patent (Patent No. 347616) is granted for the same on 24-09-2020. The patent is granted for the low-temperature sonochemical-based method, which results in stable nanodispersions of lanthanum zirconium oxide-based dielectric ink that can be directly used by spin coating or other techniques to prepare thin-films. The same team is also published a journal article along with Prof. Sunkook Kim and his team, Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea,in a prestigious ACS publication named Applied Materials and Interfaces with an impact factor of 8.758.
