Achievements
  • Khorana Fellowship: Recipient of  fellowship for “Khorana Program Technology Transfer Course 2013” conducted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW) in partnership with Indo-US Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF). The program was held during July 22nd – August 3rd, 2013 at University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA.
  • Received grant from DST, Govt. of India, under DST-MES framework for collaborative research project with Prof. Antoinette Malan,Stellenbosch University, South Africa
  • Received grant from DST, Govt. of India and State agency of Science, Innovation and Information, Govt. of Ukraine, under DST-MES framework for collaborative research project with Prof. Olexii Dugan of NTUU “KPI” Kiev, Ukraine.
  • Filed two Patent applications: 1) Indian Patent application filed on 18th Dec 2012 bearing the number 5285/ CHE/2012. The title of the invention: A process for the production of an alcoholic beverage from cashew apple and raisins and the alcoholic beverage produced thereof. 2) Indian Patent application filed on March 8, 2016, bearing the number 201641007984. The title of the invention: A process for improving n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid content of fish oil.
